Kondratieva I. Social protection of the enlisted members and officers of the civil protection service and members of their families.

The research is devoted to the study of the issue of the implementation of social protection of the enlisted members and officers of the civil protection service. The author determines the concept and essence of social protection of the enlisted members and officers of the civil protection service as a system of social, legal, economic and organizational measures. They are defined and enshrined at the constitutional level and they are aimed at ensuring the social and economic well-being of employees of the enlisted members and officers of the civil protection service and social guarantees for those who find themselves in difficult life circumstances as a result of or without work and their family members. An important place in the dissertation the author pays to the issues of financial and pension provision, medical and sanatorium treatment of the enlisted members and officers of the civil protection service. The main features of such types of provision are outlined as well. The author identified the directions of providing with housing of the enlisted members and officers of the civil protection service. Within the limits of the dissertation the problems of legal regulation of social protection of the enlisted members and officers of the civil protection service and members of their families are singled out. The author highlights the main directions of improvement of social protection of this category of persons and proposes a number of offers concerning improvement of the legislation in the specified sphere.
