In the dissertation the complex scientific research of the administrative and legal status of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine is carried out. The genesis of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine is outlined, the concept, system and types of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine, as well as their place in the system of state bodies are revealed. The legal status of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine as executive bodies that are part of the system of diplomatic service bodies is determined. The concept and structure of the elements of the administrative and legal status of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine are clarified. The essence of the rights and responsibilities of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine is revealed and the peculiarities of their legal responsibility are determined. Peculiarities of civil service by employees of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine are determined. The functioning of foreign diplomatic missions of Ukraine in the conditions of digital transformation is characterized.
