or the first time in a special study the problem of the significance of the genre of instrumental concerto in A.Khachaturian’s heritage has been considered; own typology of genre models of instrumental concerto in his work has been proposed; the interpretation of the phenomenon of “concertante modus” as a genre and style dominant has been argued; the theoretical aspects related to the concepts of “concertante modus”, “concertancy”, “concertante style: have been systematized and studied deepened; own definition of the “concertante modus” concept has been proposed; the problems of late style, autobiography, psychology of personality concerning A.Khachaturian’s music have been considered; the features of combination of monologue and dialogue in the dialogic genre of instrumental concert in the composer’s music have been revealed; the interrelation of A. Khachaturian’s inherent combination of virtuosity (decorativeness) and reflection with the national worldview, the national Armenian picture of the world has been pointed out; the issue of the correlation of individual styles of the composer and the performer, the influence of performing activity on the further destiny of A.Khachaturian’s works has been considered.
