Akifzade S. Investigation of illegal logging or illegal transportation, storage, sale of forests in Ukraine

The dissertation deals with the comprehensive study of the theoretical, legal and organizational and tactical principles of forensic investigation of illegal logging or illegal transportation, storage, sale of forests in Ukraine, given the current regulations of criminal procedure legislation. Peculiarities of formation of methods of investigation of criminal offenses in the field of forest protection are determined. The forensic characteristics of illegal logging or illegal transportation, storage, sale of forests in Ukraine are given and its elements are revealed, correlations and dependencies between them are revealed. The circumstances to be established in the criminal proceedings are detailed and the typical investigative situations and versions, tactical tasks of the initial stage of the investigation are specified. Tactics of carrying out separate investigative (search) actions and measures of maintenance of criminal proceedings are formed, and also difficulties in organizational maintenance and practice of tactical and criminological maintenance of carrying out of covert investigative (search) actions in such criminal proceedings are revealed. Prospects for the development of the use of special knowledge and the appointment of forensic examinations are outlined.
