Mirkovets O. Investigation of robberies committed by an organized group in Ukraine

In the dissertation, the scientific foundations of a complex forensic methodology for investigating robberies committed by an organized group under the conditions of the current criminal procedural legislation have been developed. Its place in the system of forensic techniques has been determined. The main elements of the forensic characteristics of robberies committed by an organized group are highlighted, their features and correlations between them are investigated, in particular, the subject of the criminal encroachment and the methods, situation, trace picture and typology of persons committing such crimes, victims are indicated. The circumstances to be established in criminal proceedings are detailed and typical investigative situations, versions, tactical tasks of the initial stage of the investigation are specified. The tactics of carrying out certain investigative (search) actions in the investigation of robberies committed by an organized group has been formed. Difficulties in the organizational support and practice of tactical and forensic support of covert investigative (search) actions during the investigation of such crimes have been revealed. The prospects for the development of the use of special knowledge and the purpose of forensic examinations are determined.
