The thesis provides a theoretical generalization and a new solution to a scientific issue – clarification of the essence and features of the administrative and legal framework of the digital transformation of a region and establishment of the directions of improvement the current legislation norms, which determine the organizational and legal basis for the implementation of relevant activities. The role and importance of implementation of the digital transformation of a region are clarified. The concept, essence, and content of the digital transformation of a region are determined.
