Osypchuk I. Administrative and Legal Principles of the Activities of the Security Service of Ukraine as the Subject of Ensuring Critical Infrastructure

The dissertation is focused on determining the essence and specific features of administrative and legal principles of the activities of the Security Service of Ukraine as the subject of ensuring critical infrastructure. The author of the research has presented a modern view on understanding administrative activities of the Security Service of Ukraine to ensure critical infrastructure. The place of the Security Service of Ukraine in the system of subjects of ensuring critical infrastructure has been clarified. The peculiarities of the administrative and legal status of the Security Service of Ukraine as a leading subject of ensuring critical infrastructure have been highlighted and revealed. The content of the main directions, objectives and functions of the Security Service of Ukraine as a subject of ensuring critical infrastructure has been clarified. The author has provided the definition to the categories of “forms and methods of the activity of the Security Service of Ukraine as a subject of ensuring critical infrastructure” and has analyzed the main types of the forms. The author has formulated the concept and has outlined administrative procedures in the activity of the Security Service of Ukraine as a subject of ensuring critical infrastructure. The understanding of the concept and basic forms of interaction of the Security Service of Ukraine with other subjects of ensuring critical infrastructure has been suggested taking into account the needs of national security, normal functioning of society, socio-economic development of the state. The essence of information provision of the activity of the Security Service of Ukraine on ensuring critical infrastructure has been revealed. Measures aimed at crime prevention by the Security Service of Ukraine as one of the areas of ensuring critical infrastructure have been outlined. The author has substantiated scientific and theoretical conclusions and practical propositions aimed at improving the legislation, the norms of which regulate administrative and legal principles of the activities of the Security Service of Ukraine as a subject of ensuring critical infrastructure.
