Essay

he dissertation is devoted to the research of the specifics of music functioning in the artistic structure of Ukrainian feature films of the last third of the XX – the beginning of the XXI century. The paper outlines the concepts that reveal the philosophical and aesthetic essence of film music as an artistic phenomenon; the parameters that determine the role of music in the artistic structure of the film are revealed; the own algorithm of the analysis of film music is offered and the author’s musical concepts of the Ukrainian feature films of the last third of the XX – the beginning of the XXI century (by V. Khrapachov, S. Lunyov, A. Zagaykevych, V. Silvestrov) are investigated.
