Essay

The dissertation work is devoted to the definition of territories of organic crops production, which can provide crop production of standardized quality. Scientific and methodological approaches to the assessment of agricultural lands by the level of suitability for organic commodity production at different levels of landscaping of Ukraine have been developed. At the regional level, the assessment was carried out on the indicators of soil fertility (humus content, reaction of soil solution, content of N, P, K); on indicators of its pollution (heavy metals, pesticide residues, radioactive substances). Belonging of agricultural lands to the category of "suitable" and "limited suitable". It has been established that according to the integrated fertility indicator, which reflects the suitability of soils in administrative-territorial districts of the region to the requirements for organic production, half of the districts (10 out of 20) belong to the category of "limited suitable", 10 districts – to the category of "suitable". The results of the study on exceeding the MPC of heavy metals and the average content of ZKP are absent, which meets the requirements for organic commodity production. A method for determining the suitability of soil and climatic conditions of the region for the production of organic crops of standardized quality (on the example of winter wheat). An integrated assessment of the suitability of soil and climatic conditions of Cherkasy region to obtain the 1st class wheat grain on long-term indicators has been done. Verification of the presented scientific approach to the assessment of soil and climatic conditions was conducted in 2014 on the basis agricultural enterprise "Basis" in Uman district of Cherkasy region. The peculiarities of the transition of an agricultural enterprise from a traditional to an organic approach of production have been determined and the main indicators have been established. They are the presence of dangerous objects that have a negative impact on agricultural lands, the level of fertility and soil pollution. Identification and control of hazardous factors in the organic commodity production was carried out according to the HACCP system, on the example of the technology of growing winter wheat of breed Nota. Hazardous factors have been identified, CPCs and their limit values have been set, monitoring and corrective actions have been developed. The procedure of verification (audit) was carried out to confirm the effectiveness of the HACCP system in the conditions of agricultural enterprise "Basis" in Uman district of Cherkasy region.
