Hryb K. Certification of educators according to the legislation of Ukraine

The dissertation is devoted to the research of legal aspects of attestation of educators according to the legislation of Ukraine. The legal nature of attestation is clarified and its concept is formulated. The range of subjects that directly carry out educational activities and are subject to certification as educators is outlined. The ratio of related phenomena "certification" and "certification" is analysed and their similarities and differences are highlighted. Peculiarities of assigning pedagogical titles are analysed. The similarity of the conditions for assigning pedagogical and scientific titles has been clarified. It is proposed to enshrine in the legislation on attestation the norm on the assignment of pedagogical titles indefinitely. The procedure of attestation of educators is researched, the legal consequences of attestation are clarified and the directions of its improvement by introduction of two-level system of attestation on the basis of independent attestation centres are offered. The legislation of Ukraine on attestation of educators is analysed and the directions of its improvement are offered.
