Tkach A. Procedural activity of the prosecutor during criminal proceedings concerning application of coercive measures of medical character

The dissertation provides a theoretical generalization and a new solution to the scientific problem, which is to solve a set of theoretical and practical problems for legal regulation of procedural activities of the prosecutor during criminal proceedings concerning the application of coercive measures of a medical nature. A number of proposals and recommendations aimed at improving the prosecutor's powers to apply coercive measures of a medical nature at the stage of pre-trial investigation, as well as the prosecutor's procedural activities in criminal proceedings have been formulated. The work is based on the materials of the Office of the Prosecutor General, the ECHR, the Constitutional and Supreme Courts, survey data of investigators, prosecutors, judges, defenders and employees of medical institutions from different regions of Ukraine.
