Essay

The dissertation study provides a new explanation of the scientific task of determining the basic elements of the proper functioning of the system of adequate food safety control in Ukraine through a comprehensive analysis of the current state of its organization and implementation, as well as domestic and European regulations and standards in order to identify methods and vectors for the optimization of administrative legislation in this area, which will become one of the factors in the development of the food system of Ukraine in the direction of balance. The object-subject component of the administrative-legal regulation of food safety is revealed, the peculiarities of regulatory and organizational support for the implementation of state control over this area of ​​implementation of state functions are characterized, and the place and role of executive authorities in the system of subjects of its implementation is defined. The structure of the administrative-legal mechanism of the state control over the safety of food products is characterized, the features of the forms, methods and administrative procedures of its implementation are disclosed. The foreign experience of implementing state control over the safety of food products was analyzed, the expediency of its adaptation into the national legal system was determined, and directions and specific initiatives for improving administrative legislation in this area were formed.
