Shteba R. State policy in the sphere of national security of Ukraine.

Object of research: state policy in the sphere of ensuring national security. The purpose of substantiation of theoretical provisions and development of practical recommendations regarding directions for improvement of the mechanisms of formation and implementation of state policy in the sphere of ensuring national security of Ukraine. Methods: logical-semantic; comparative analysis; system-analytical; logical modeling and construction; statistical; analysis and synthesis; observation and theoretical generalization; abstract and logical. Results: theoretical provisions and directions for improvement of the mechanisms of formation and implementation of state policy in the sphere of ensuring national security of Ukraine were scientifically and practically substantiated. Novelty: the conceptual foundations of the strategy for the formation and implementation of state policy in the sphere of ensuring national security of Ukraine based on the principle of "national security through sustainable development" are substantiated, in which the functioning of political, legal, economic, and informational mechanisms is singled out, the strategic goal, goals, principles, and conditions are defined , stages and levels of implementation of the strategy aimed at changing the paradigm of ensuring Ukraine's national security in the context of the need to ensure a consistent transition from the security imperative built on the principle of protection of the individual, society and the state from external and internal threats to the policy of ensuring national security on the basis of sustainable (social economic and ecological) development through the prevention of dangers and elimination of threats with the aim of establishing Ukraine in the world as a powerful and authoritative European country, ensuring state sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the country; the ways of transformation of state policy in the sphere of ensuring national security in the conditions of European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, theoretical and methodological approaches regarding directions of improvement of state policy in the sphere of ensuring national security of Ukraine have been improved; in the dissertation study, further development was achieved: the categorical and conceptual apparatus of the science of public management and administration by clarifying the meaning of the concept of "state policy in the sphere of ensuring national security", substantiating the peculiarities of the application of mechanisms for the formation and implementation of state policy in the sphere of ensuring national security by using a logic-analog model , generalization of world trends and systematization of conceptual approaches regarding tools for the formation and implementation of state policy in the sphere of ensuring national security in foreign countries.
