In the dissertation, a theoretical study was carried out, and a new solution to the investigated scientific task was provided, which consists of the formation of a general paradigm of the administrative and legal status of public councils under the legislation of Ukraine. In the course of the analysis, it was established that by their legal nature, public councils are separate subjects of administrative law with a unique administrative and legal status.
