Tereshchenko O. Mechanisms of regulation of the foreign exchange market in conditions of openness of the national economy

The main result of the dissertation consists in the development of theoretical provisions, methodological foundations and practical recommendations for improving the mechanisms of currency market regulation in conditions of openness of the national economy. The content of the main conclusions and recommendations is as follows: A systematic approach to justifying the category of the national economy as a large economic self-regulatory system, as well as the main principles of its functioning, is formalized. The features of the classification of national economies as objects of regulation are systematized, the cause-and-effect relationships between the openness of the national economy and the open national economy are determined. Forms and methods of currency market regulation in conditions of openness of the national economy are summarized. Advantages and disadvantages of open economies are highlighted. Endogenous and exogenous factors influencing the formation of an open economy in Ukraine are singled out, and it is shown that, according to the Association Agreement with the EU, regulation of the foreign exchange market should be carried out based on the requirement of its liberalization. The foreign exchange market is formalized as a subsystem of the national economy, the definition of an open foreign exchange market is given.
