The dissertation study is devoted to the problem of administrative procedures in the field of civil servants' rights protection against illegal dismissal. Theoretical generalization and a new solution to the scientific task to find out the essence and peculiarities of administrative procedures in the field of protecting the rights of civil servants against illegal dismissal, and also, based on positive domestic and foreign experience, to establish directions for improving the norms of administrative legislation determining the legal basis for the implementation of the relevant activity is provided in the dissertation. The essence and significance of protecting civil servants from illegal dismissal are explored in this text. The state of legal regulation of the implementation of administrative procedures in the sphere of protecting the rights of civil servants from illegal dismissal is evaluated. The concept and methods of protecting civil servants from illegal dismissal are defined and outlined. The content of the administrative-legal principles of conducting official investigations regarding civil servants as a guarantee of protection from illegal dismissal is established. The procedure for appealing decisions on the illegal dismissal of civil servants is disclosed. A description is provided of the procedure for restoring a civil servant who was illegally dismissed to their position. The peculiarities of the procedure for holding accountable officials responsible for the illegal dismissal of civil servants are established. The international experience of protecting the rights of civil servants from illegal dismissal is summarized, and the possibilities of its use in Ukraine are discussed. The directions for improving administrative legislation that defines the organizational and legal principles of implementing administrative procedures in the sphere of protecting the rights of civil servants from illegal dismissal are established.
