Polishchuk V. Productivity of field crops depending on the fertilizer system under short rotation in Ukrainian Polissia zone

Based on the conducted research, the agritechnology for cultivating potatoes, winter rye, and flax-oat mixture was enhanced for the conditions of the Ukrainian Polissia zone. The research involved an agro-environmental assessment of fertilizer systems with the combined use of liquid organo-mineral fertilizers and justification of compensating a part of mineral fertilizers with an appropriate amount of organic fertilizers and a non-marketable part of the crop, which are balanced in terms of the nutrient content and their ratio. The influence of fertilizer systems and liquid organo-mineral fertilizers on the growth and development of crops under short crop rotation, formation of leaf surface area, photosynthetic potential, as well as yield and quality indicators of the obtained products was analyzed. For the first time, the impact of different fertilizer types on the yield and quality indicators of crops was determined for the conditions of the Ukrainian Polissia zone. The research involved an agro-environmental assessment of fertilizer systems with the combined use of liquid organo-mineral fertilizers and justification of compensating a part of mineral fertilizers with an appropriate amount of organic fertilizers, which are balanced in terms of the nutrient content and their ratio. It was proposed to replace conventional and organic fertilizers with alternative ones (straw, post-harvest residues), taking into consideration the ratio of nutrients in the organic matter of the soil.
