Varfolomieiev V. Forensic characteristics and methods of investigating the import, manufacture, sale and distribution of pornographic items in Ukraine

Based on the analysis of scientific sources, regulatory and legal acts, official state reporting, as well as law enforcement and judicial practice, the dissertation carries out a comprehensive study of forensic characteristics and methods of investigating the import, manufacture, sale and distribution of pornographic items in Ukraine. The theoretical approaches as to the definition of the subject, the situation, and typical trace patterns of the import, production, sale, and distribution of pornographic objects have been finalized. The author's approach to the organization of the investigation into the import, manufacture, sale, and distribution of pornographic items in Ukraine is proposed. The approaches to determining the specifics of the tactical support of the investigation of the import, manufacture, sale, and distribution of pornographic items have been characterized and improved. It is proposed to introduce changes and additions to normative legal acts on improving the process of pre-trial investigation of criminal offenses related to the illegal circulation of pornographic objects in Ukraine.
