In the dissertation, based on a comprehensive analysis of the administrative and legal foundations of the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of health care, effective mechanisms of legal regulation are defined, which contribute to improving the quality of medical services, ensuring the availability of health care for all segments of the population, and also developed recommendations for improvement of administrative legislation and the practice of its application to improve the management of the healthcare system in Ukraine. The components of state policy in the field of health care as an object of administrative and legal regulation are defined. The principles of formation and implementation of state policy in the field of health care are disclosed. The normative and legal principles of the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of health care in Ukraine have been analyzed. A classification of subjects of formation and implementation of state policy in the field of health care in Ukraine is proposed. The peculiarities of the implementation of state policy in the field of emergency medical care have been determined. The concept of primary and specialized medical care as a component of state policy in the field of health care is revealed. The content of palliative care as a component of state policy in the field of health care has been formed. The foreign experience of the formation and implementation of state policy in the field of health care is determined. Directions for improving the mechanisms of formation and implementation of state policy in the field of health care in Ukraine have been formed.
