Ukrainian and Polish historiography of Magdeburg Law. Purpose: to make a comparative analysis of achievements of Polish and Ukrainian historiography in the field of study of Magdeburg Law. Research methods are comparative historical, typological, system functional. The dissertation is the first attempt of the complex investigation of the Ukrainian and Polish historiography concerning the Magdeburg Law problem. The results should be useful for the further study of the history of municipal self-government, as well as urban history as a whole.
