Essay

The investigation is concerned with ZAZ-110550 motorcar cooling system. The objective of the study is to improve engine operating characteristics by intensifying heat and exchange within radiator and to choose rational parameters mass and operating variables for radiator-fan block. The investigation techniques are the fundamentals of thermodynamics, of similitude theory and laws of head transfer and thermal balance. Instrumentation and test equipment have been used for the purpose. Theoretical and practical results:-the impact of pipe-rib mechanical contact thermal resistance on heat transfer within ZAZ motor car aluminum radiators has been found; -mathematical model of heat and mass exchange in radiators with partially blown surface of fan heat exchange has been elaborated; -new energy characteristics for radiator-fan block have been obtained with due regard to fan cowl dimensions effect radiator dimensions for ZAZ motor car having consideration for cooling fin-rib amount effect; -design variables an d operating conditions calculation procedure and programme for ZAZ motor-car cooling system has been worked out -radiator operation efficiency has been improved due to the fin-rib amount increase; -radiator energetic characteristics in parameter and criterion mode has been yielded; -the attractive design of air cleaner-turbulence stimulator for air blow mounted at the radiator entrance has been suggested -recommendations for ZAZ cooling system efficient operation maintenance in conditions of Jordan enterprises have been worked out -the findings have been introduced at the Vzlyot plant (the city of Lugansk, Ukraine) during radiator production introduction. The area of apprication is automobile building.
