3. The object of research is brace systems of automobiles. The aim of this work is traffic safety stand" raising of automobiles on the basis of standard material application allowing more accurate to diagnose technical conditions of brake systems on diagnostic stands. Methods of research are work processes and "functional dependences of the automobile - road" and "automobile - system. The diagnostic and measuring equipment has been used. New theoretical and practical results are as follows: - mathematical models of automobile wheel brake on road and stand with a running drum have been worked out; - methods of standard values determination of diagnostic parameters taking into account discrepancy conditions of stand and road tests and particularities of brakes and stands have been worked out; - methods of results comparison of brake tests for concrete stands and automobile models have been improved; - methods of engineering design of standard values of diagnostic parameters for any stand construction and basic types of brake systems have been created. Results of research have been introduced using the KhSAHTU diagnostic station for carrying out of yearly automobile maintenance inspections. The field of application is automobile maintenance.
