Essay

The photopolymerization of methacrylic esters at the presence of polyvinylpirrolidone. To determine the regularities of photopolymerization and conditions of polyvinylpirrolidone - methacrylic polymers obtaining with predicted properties. Investigation methods - dilatometry, photocolorimetri, UV- and IR-spectroscopy. It was determined the initiating action of polyvinylpirrolidone and photosensitivity of compositions on it's basis. These facts determine the synthesis of number of graft co-polymers without usage of photoinitiators. Application fields - ophthalmology, optical industry, scientific laboratories.
