Essay

The dissertation is based on the materials of experimental investigation of frequency and angle characteristics of stimulated Raman scattering (SRS) in self-focusing liquids. A novelty of maine results of the investigation is in determination of the local parameters of scattering radiation along motion traces of focal regions. It has been cleared up, that in self-focusing substances: 1) SPS localizes within the bounds of focal regions; 2) the decisive role to form the indicatrixs of parametric components has high effectiveness of transformation of laser radiation into the Stockes component; 3) the spectral-angle structure of the higher anti-Stokes components is influenced by competition of combinational and parametric processes; 4) some SRS line broadenings are caused by generation of Cherencov-type radiation
