The research materials - sources on the history of Ukrainian-Chinese relations and academic heritage of Ukrainian sinology (18th century - 1941) though a multidisciplinary approach. Research methods applied: traditional comparative historic research. The research outcome: historic reconstruction of Ukrainian sinology. The thesis presents a new solution of an actually important scholarly problem. The outcome may be used in teaching courses on the general and Ukrainian history.
