Essay

The dissertation deals with some issues of error estimating the discrete analogues for two spectral problems with the second-order elliptic operators. The convergence of the discrete eigenvalues and eigenfunctions to the corresponding differential solutions is proved. The accuracy order of the schemes is characterized by the asymptotic formulae for the eigenvalues and by inequality estimates for the eigenfunctions. The obtained results can be theoretically and practically used while solving some spectral problems of the mathematical phisics.
