Essay

Non-invasive clinical and hemodynamic variables were analysed for creation of an algorithmic prognostic model of chronic heart failure patients survival. The following parameters were associated with lower three-years survival left ventricular end systolic volume more than 170 ml; left H.q. mm; III - IV class (NYHA); ECG-signs of left atrium hypertrophy. No significant difference between three-years survival rates of patients with ischemic heart disease and idiopathic dilated cardiomyopathy was observed. A model of individual three-years survival prediction has been developed.
