108 adolescents aged 12-17 have been examined aiming at perfection of early diagnosing atherosclerotic precursors by clinical, instrumental and laboratory methods as well as spectrophotametric, hemiluminescent and fermentative methods. There have been studied certain peculiarities in lipid spectrum, lipid peroxidation processes and antioxidant protection. There has been established in adolescents with a high risk of atherosclerosis development formation of dyslipoproteidemias of atherogenic purpose and intensification of lipid peroxidation processes against the background of improper antioxidant protection response. The results of the investigations have been introduced into the practice of pediatrics institutions.
