Object of investigation: Crystals with Са3Ga2Ge4O14 structure. Aim of investigation: Determination of spectro- scopic characteristics and local symmetry of impurity and radiation-induced centres. Methods: EPR and optical spectroscopy. Results: Local symmetry, valence states, parameters of EPR and optical spectra of the impurity Cr3+ , Mn2+ and UV-induced O- - centres in crystals with Са3Ga2Ge4O14 structure have been established. Incalcation: Results are used in Ivan Franko Lviv State University for synthesis crystals with Са3Ga2Ge4O14 structure. Application: Laser technology.
