Essay

The thesis is dedicated to a study of the peculiarities of developing lesions of the gastroduodenal and hepatobiliary systems and metabolic disorders in patients with chronic heart failure of rheumatic and ischemic genesis. It was found that gastro- and cholecystohepatopathy progressed with an increase of the stage of heart failur revealed both progressive disorders of lipids and proteinse and with patients' advancing age. In patients with heart failure of rheumatic genesis gastropathy prevailed, while cholecystohepathy was characteristic of cases with ischemic heart failure. We peroxidation and a reduction of an antioxidant defence in the patients' blood.The use of bee pollen in a multimodality treatment proved to have a positive effect on the course of the disease, and its both gastro- hepatoprotective and antioxidant properties were shown.
