Thesis for a degree of Candidate of Physical-Mathematical Sciences (Ph. Doctor) by speciality 01.04.07 - Physics of Solid State. Institute for Problems of Materials Science, National Academy of Science of Ukraine, Kiev, 1999. The investigation of the evolution of disperse microcrystalline systems as the example of ZnO, Al2O3, Si,SiO2, SiC, Si3N4, BN, B4C, TiO2,calcium silicates, clays, slags and their mixtures, subjected to mechanical and thermal treatments, were perfomed by the IR spectroscopy method. Based on TADS, the morphologic aspects of the formation of the fine systems at different treatments have been analyzed, the mechanism of the proceeding processes has been developed. A phenomenon of polimorphism during the mechanical treatment was determined, the mechanism of the uncovering of a surface microcrack accompanied by the a-Al2O3 - O-Al2O3 phase transformation, was proposed. The existence of tensile stresses in the surface shell of SiO2 on siliconcarbide particles has been established and expla ined. Thr role of the initial defective structure of dispersive systems in processes of rearrangement under the action of extemal factors have been studied.
