Essay

The Theses are concerned to the questions of formation of strong double layers stabilized in the gas discharge volume and generation of charged particle beams in the electric field of these layers. The complex of experimental and theoretical researches for dynamics of high-current discharge under low pressure with the space stabilized double layer and for charged particle beam formation are worked out in the Theses. The complete pattern of discharge phenomena, which occur with strong double layer formation and charged particle beam formation, is also obtained.
