The dissertation is devoted to investigations of synthesis methods and properties of b,b-dimethylacrylic acid derivatives. The synthesis of b-methyl-b-buthyrolactone and b,b-dimethylacrylic acid are improved. The structure and nature of alcohols and solvents influence on alcoholysis of chloride of b,b-dimethylacrylic acid are studied and mechanism of the process is determined. The esterefication of glicols by b,b-dimethylacrylic acid and polimerization abiliti of the acid derivatives are investigated. 18 new compounds are synthesised and identified.
