Palasyuk G. Stoic Philosophy Ideas in Hryhory Skovoroda's Teaching

The thesis deals with the research of stoic philosophy ideas in Hryhory Skovoroda's teaching. Skovoroda's realization of antique stoics ethic theories is analysed on the basis of the comparative analyses of stoics works and those of the Ukrainian thinker. The relation of the "true human being" conception with the stoics ideal of "wise-man" as well as the influence of the stoics "natural religion" on the perception of God being as the Universal mind by the Ukrainian thinker was investigated. The essence of Hryhory Skovoroda's teaching about "related" labour as the natural essence of human being and its relation with the stoics understanding of human happiness was investigated. Social stipulation of Skovoroda's creative activity ties with the stoic philosophy is described.
