Essay

The treatment of 119 patients with chronic traumatologic and odontogenous osteomyelitis of mandible was investigated. 85 patients (the basic group) received weakened geomagnatic field (WGMF) and generally used treatment, 34 patients (control group) received only generally used treatment. The tustworthy positive changes of readings in the basic group were revealed by hematologic, biohemical, microbiological and cytologic investigations. For the first time in stomatology the methods and device for treatment by WGMF were worked out and introduced in practice. The positive results were got in the basic group: immediate - 98,8%, distant - 93,5%. The results of treatment and investigations confirm the positive influence of WGMF on the course of inflammatory process and on the patient's organism as a whole.
