This scientific work is intended to perfect the early diagnosis and prognosis of the SLE progress in pubertal period. The evolution of clinical manifestations in 108 patients of 9-18 years was studied on basis of retro- and prospective investiga tion. Such methods as clinical, biochemical, immunological, instrumental (ECG, EEG, REG, echosonography), psychological have been included for investigation. It was established that malignization of the disease with its high activity and polyviscerites, severe damages of CNS, suggesting an unfavourable prognosis, was observed at the onset of the disease in the periods of early and true puberty. There has been shown certain peculiarities of psychoemotional status of adolescents with SLE at various stages of the disease. There has been worked out an algorithm for prognosing the course and outcome of SLE taking into consideration the dynamics of clinical symptomes and their combinations, the effect of the treatment and possible complications. The date obt ainded are being applied in the practical work of infantile medical prophilactic institutions. The region of appline is pediatrics and children's rheumatology.
