Investigation object: the nonlinear multidimensional control dynamical system that human gait modeling. Investigation purpose: calculation of the optimal structures of the above-knee prosthesis. Investigation methods: numerical-analytic. Theoretical and practical results, novelty: New formulation and numerically-analytical methods for the solution of the problems of the human gait modelling in normal and with the prosthetic leg, estimation of the elastic and visco-elastic parameters of the leg's joints, calculation and optimization of the above-knee prostheses structure are proposed.. The numerical algorithm have been developed by means of which we have accomplished the computer modelling of the normal human gait and with different kinds of the aboveknee prostheses. In the proposed prosthetic structures the viscoestic, hydraulic or pneumatic knee joint were used. The results of the numerical solution of the optimzation problems of the above-knee prostheses have been presented. Degree of application:it is planned. Sphere (area) of application: biomechanic, mechatronic.
