Essay

Resonators of solid-state wave gyroscopes including bimorph piezoceramic beam and cylindrical piezoceramic shell. To establish regularities of vibrations of these resonators in the case of accelerated rotation and to compare these results with the case of steady rotation. Such investigations were performing with the help of asymptotic methods, Laplace integral transform method and power series method, Runge-Kutt numerical method. Regularities of vibrations of piezoceramic resonators are found in analytic form for the case of accelerated rotation, formulae for splitting of resonance frequencies and precession of normal modes are also determined. These new results are useful in the analysis of operating parameters of wave gyroscopes under the arbitrary regular regimes of rotation. The use of these results is in the theory of solid-state wave gyroscopes.
