Essay

The two-dimensional dynamical problems of the theory of discre tery reinforced shells with varying stiffness elements are set up in the framework of the Timoshenko type non-linear theory of shells and beams. The technique for determination of non-stationary loads under action of elongated shaped charges on thin-wall elements cut by explosi ons is elaborated. The character of the perturbations propagation in plates at their explosive cutting is experimentally investigated. An efficient numerical method for solution of problems on non-stationary behaviour of shells with discrete reinforcements which discrete reinfor cements which permit to realize solution of the investigated ware prob lems with the use personal cjmputers, as well as bringing their soluti ons to receiving concrete numerical results uin wide diapason of geomet rical, physical and mechanical parameters of structures are elaborated.
