Pogorilyj A. Dmitrij Tchizhevski as a historian of philosophy

The present survey is based upon the historic backgrounds of D. Tchizhevski. The following aspects made the hardcore of the paper: methodological backgrounds that have gave birth to the further scientific studies at this field, as well as to the Researcher itself, the contents and the results of scientific researches of native and foreign philosophy. Proved, D. Tchizhevski has implemented a new methodological approach targeted on subject interaction of culture, common standpoints and philosophy. D. Tchizhevski is a founder of a conceptual schemes of evolution of the Ukrainian philosophy from ancient times up till now. The results of his studies of Russian native culture and philosophy have been analyzed as well, especially, - Western tendencies or/and influences upon the Russian philosophy of the XIX century. It has been proved and commonly agreed, that the results of his scientific researches are of the great importance at present and have common roots with the comparative analysis of the history of p hilosophy.
