The main objective laws of rolling of the main and subsidiary equipment of diesel locomotive when conducting the rheostat tests in the depot conditions. The proposed mathematical model concerning the mechanical losses determination in the engine takes. The combined approach to the control of the condition of friction knots fixing on the stabilization of full expense. The concentration of tear and wear products in engine oil and the mechanical losses capacity on the drive of the main.
