Essay

Object of research: dynamical systems of quantum statistical mechanics. Goal of research: to find sufficient conditions for dynamical systems to be K-systems. Methods of research: operator algebras, ergodic theory. New theoretical results: the K-property for various quantum dynamical systems is proved, a continuum of pairwise non-conjugate non-Bernoullian K-systems with the same entropy on the III_1-factor is constructed.
