Object of researches - electric motor of miner lokomotive. The purpose dissertation of work is the increase of reliability of electric motors and efficiency of operation locomotives. In work the element of theory of the differential equation for want of account of thermal transient earlier method of thermal researches fundamental position of theories of heat and cooling of electrical machines are used. The theoretical outcomes of work consist in system engeneering of thermal monitoring of electric motor, which function because of developed mathematical model of thermalmtransients, technique of forecasting of residual service life isolation for repeatedly short-term modes,for want of continuous monitoring of parameters of a current, frequency of rotation, condition of rail path. The practical outcomes consist in development of principles and algorithms of operation of a system of thermal monitoring for maintaining allowable levels of temperature and fulfilment forecasting determination of technologicalp arameters of modes of operation, development of gauge of humidity for monitoring a condition of a rail path.
