Essay

The thesis is devoted to the construction of a theory of gravitational field of the quasiclosed and closed worlds and its application to the problems of general relativity and quantum gravity. The exact solutions of Einstein equations for the gravitational field of axial source are found and the limiting cases are investigated. A new approach to the problem of linkage between the gravitational fields based on expressing the junction conditions in terms of scalar invariants is proposed. The classical and quantum theory of gravity for the Friedmann universe filled with a scalar field and radiation with well determined time variable is constructed. It is shown that the quantum universe can be in quasistationary states. Its properties in the Planck era and in states with large values of quantum numbers are investigated. Calculated parameters are compared with data of our Universe.
