Sekuten'yana M. Strength and crack-mouth opening of steelfibrereinforcedconcrete (SFRC) members in bending , reinforced by small-sized fibres

The objects of the research are Steelfibrereinforcedconcrete members in bending with notches as well as standard sized bars as well as standard sized bars and prisms. The aim of the thesis is the research of the stress- strain state of SFRC in bending . Methods of the research are standard tests during bending and the statistic evaluation of the test results. The thesis achieves close correlation of experimental and theoretic results of research It works out a method of quality control of SFRC members in bending reinforced by small-sized fibres. The novelty lies in the working out of conditions which should be satisfied in order to achieve the best results of small-sized steelfibre reinforcement as well as the results introduced under strengthening of reinforced concrete slabs with cracks The field of application is construction as well as repair and strengthening of concrete constructions.
