Essay

The object of study: pulsed wave beams and layered dielectric lossy structures. The aim of study: eduction of physical features of interaction of resricted in space transient fields with dielectric structures. Methods and equipment: theoretically - spectral method, experimentally - in time domain. Theoretical and practical results, novelty: the solutions to the problems of two- and three-dimensional scattering of pulsed wave beams on dielectric and metal-dielectric lossy structures are obtained. An algorithm for processing space-time experimental data to determine permittivity, conductivity, slab thickness and frequency-angular dependence of reflection coefficient of layered structures is proposed. The solution to the problem of radiation from rectangular aperture antenna non-sinchronously excited with transient signal is obtained. The sphere of application: subsurface remote sensing, measurements.
