The object of study: multibeam and scanning antennas for radiometer systems of remote sensing the Earth. The aim of study: the obtaining of the maximum obtainable electrodynamic characteristics of radiating systems by the gain? main lobe width o f pattern and minimum side radiation under condition of minimum antenna dimensions. Metrology: physical theory of diffraction, numerical methods of applied mathematics, experiment. Theoretical and practical results: The problem of radiation of reflector antenna consisting of plane triangles was solved. Algorithms and programs for calculation and optimization of antennas for panorama multibeam and scanning radiometers was developed. Methods of decreasing side lobe levels of plane antenna arrays was inves tigated. Antenna array elements (multiring antennas and leaky wave antennas) was investigated. Comb structure for electromagnetic decoupling airborne antennas was investigated. The sphere of application: radiophysics.
