Legal nature, content, problems of the normative regulation of the legal status of the parties of the labour regulations. The complex research of the legislation and the analysis of the scientific literature on the legal status of the employer and employee and the scientifically grounded propositions aimed at the perfection of the labour legislation of Ukraine and the practice of law application. Research methods are historical, system structural, comparative legal, formal logical, dogmatic and other scientific and special methods of the scientific cognition. The essence and the content of the legal status of the parolees of the labour relation mere analysed at the Theoretical level for the ferst time in the national science of labour law. Conclusions and recommendations formulated in the thesis may be used in the process of the law - making activity of competent organs during the reform of the labour legislation of Ukraine, in the scientific research activity, in the educational process.
