Essay

The dissertation work deals with studying the most effective variants of genotypes combination in pigs of Ukrainian and English selektion for receiving commercial hybrids on the interbreed and cross-breed basis. The experiments were conducted at the "Kalityansky" complex production farm in the Kiev Region.It was determined, that at using the interbreed type UWL-1 as the mother-form, and boars of duroc, landrace and English selektion Large White breeds, the highest indices for the reproductive, fattening and meaty qualities are gained.
