Essay

The relationship between coronary damage and mitral valvulopathy, the incidence of this association and clinical presentations were described. The complex approach to surgical treatment and prophylaxis of intraoperative complications was developed. The total of 27,3% patients underwent mitral valve surgery combined with coronary artery bypass grafting. The method of combined surgery and technique of myocardial protection were improved. Early and late results of the combined mitral valve and coronary surgery were studied.
